What's on Tap
This weekend, the Rockford IceHogs make their final appearance in Cleveland in the 2009-10 regular season with a pair of games against the Monsters. The contests are slated for Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

In facing the IceHogs, the Monsters go up against a formidable foe. With a 29-19-2-3 mark, Rockford is currently in third place in the Western Conference and has gone 8-1-0-1 in their past 10 games. To date, the Monsters have gone 0-2-0-0 in the 2009-10 regular season against the IceHogs, including a 3-0 shutout loss in their home opener on October 10th at The Q.

If the Monsters are to win either or both games, they will have most likely scored the game’s first goal. The IceHogs are 25-5-1-2 when scoring first this season and have outscored the opponent 53-39 in the first period.

The Monsters hold an all-time mark of 3-3-1-1 against Rockford heading into this weekend and are currently one point ahead of the Abbotsford Heat for fourth place in the North Division, a spot that represents the division’s final playoff spot.

After this weekend’s games, the Monsters return home Wednesday, February 10th, for a 7:00 p.m. contest against the Milwaukee Admirals.

Tickets are available and can be purchased by calling (216) 420-0000, by visiting LakeErieMonsters.com or by visiting any Northern Ohio Discount Drug Mart.

This weekend's games and every game this season will be broadcast on the Monsters flagship radio station, ESPN 850 WKNR.  Listen Live on ESPN 850 WKNR | Watch here via AHL Live
