Monsters Go Back-to-Back with Rampage

MATCHUP
For the first time this season, the Lake Erie Monsters will hit the ice in San Antonio against the Rampage, with all the action beginning at 8:00 PM Eastern. The Monsters and Rampage conclude the two-game set in San Antonio and four-game season series tomorrow night at 8:30 PM Eastern.The Monsters are coming off a dramatic 3-2 shootout win in Hamilton on Saturday, in which former San Antonio and current Lake Erie forward Bill Thomas tied the game with under four seconds remaining in regulations. The Monsters are 6-3-1-0 over their last 10 games, and are 1-1-0-0 on the season against San Antonio. The Rampage, while still at the bottom of the five-team South Division, have used a 5-0-0-1 stretch over their last six games to pull themselves closer to the rest of the pack in the Western Conference.

LAST TIME OUT
The Monsters topped Hamilton for the third time in four tries this season, improving to 10-2-0-0 against the Bulldogs since the start of last season. Andrew Agozzino had a pair of assists for his seventh multi-point game of the year, and with 28 points Agozzino is now tied with Mike Sgarbossa for the Monsters points lead. Paul Carey and Thomas scored goals for the Monsters, while Thomas Pock also chipped in with an assist. This season, the Monsters are 11-5-0-0 when Pock registers a point. Calvin Pickard stopped 33 of 35 shots in net for the Monsters, winning his third consecutive start; a feat not previously accomplished by any Monsters goaltender this season. In the shootout frame, Stefan Elliott and Mark Olver scored to secure the second point and the win.

WHO TO WATCH: MONSTERS
Agozzino continues to be finding the scoresheet more frequently than anyone else in a Monsters uniform. Agozzino has three goals and 10 assists over his last 11 games after a pair of assists in Hamilton on Saturday. Agozzino hasn't scored a goal over his last six games, but has seven assists to show for the last six contests.

WHO TO WATCH: RAMPAGE
Jon Rheault is San Antonio's leading scorer with 11 goals and 27 points this season, and is coming off a two-goal, three-point game in San Antonio's last outing: a 5-2 home win over Peoria on Sunday. Rheault picked up his sixth multi-point game of the season last time out, and has five points over his last five games.
