Over the weekend, the Lake Erie Monsters played their ninth and final 3-in-3 set to conclude their regular season.

Prior to Friday’s game in Rockford, defenseman Julien Brouillette spoke with broadcaster Ben Holden, as did forward Justin Mercier. Before Sunday’s game in Rochester, Holden caught up with right wing Matt Ford and blue liner Ray Macias.

The Monsters claimed four of a possible six points over the weekend.

After netting a pair of goals in Saturday’s 3-0 win over Abbotsford, Matt Ford tied a franchise record with his 26th tally of the season on Sunday night in Rochester. In the following clip, Ford talks with Holden about his recent success and looks ahead to the playoffs:
