Olver spent the last three seasons at Northern Michigan University, before appearing in six games with the Monsters near the end of last season. During those six games, Olver scored two goals and recorded four penalty minutes.

Olver began this season with the Colorado Avalanche, recording two assists in four games. He joined the Monsters on October 19th and made an immediate impact by scoring in both of his first two games with Lake Erie.

He is currently Lake Erie's leading scoring, as he's tallied 17 goals this season. His 28 points and 108 shots both rank second on the Monsters.

2010-11 Season Highlights:

November 5th: Recorded two assists for his first multi-point game of the season.

November 5th-November 10th: Ran a three-game point streak by recording four assists.

November 17th: Registered first two-goal game of the season in 3-0 win over Grand Rapids.

November 26th-December 3rd: Recorded second three-game point streak by posting five points (2G, 3A) in three outings.

January 20th: Established a team-high five-game point streak by totaling seven points (6G, 1A) in five outings.
