In this edition of "Get to Know", we cover Monsters center Ben Walter. So far in this young season, Walter is second on the team with 11 points (5g/6a), and is tied for the team lead in goals scored. Walter's play has provided a consistent scoring threat night-in and night-out. Currently an assistant captain, Walter's leadership has been priceless so far this year.

How does it feel to play in front of great fans, and what can that mean for a game?:   Great fans can make a big difference in how a team plays. The players feed off the energy of the crowd, and there is nothing like winning a game in front of a full arena.

What is your favorite way to relax on a non-game day?:  Watch a movie.

Describe a pre-game ritual you like to go through to prepare for a game:  I take a nap after my pregame meal. I always have a few cups of coffee when I get to the rink.

Who was your favorite hockey team and player while growing up?:   My favorite team was the Vancouver Canucks, and my favorite player was Ryan Walter (my dad).

Could any of your Monsters teammates be a celebrity look-a-like?:   Justin Mercier kind of looks like Shia Labeouf
