With their grueling game and travel schedule, hockey players know what it’s like to be away from home for the holidays. So on Tuesday, eight Lake Erie Monsters players – Wes O’Neill, Tom Preissing, Brandon Yip, Trevor Cann, Cedric McNicoll, Ray Macias, Kevin Montgomery and Patrick Bordeleau – visited University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital to visit children who are not able to be at home this holiday season.

Monsters players were very excited to be at the hospital to help spread the holiday spirit and good cheer to the children. The players spent time with patients and their families, signing autographs and, most importantly, bringing smiles to the faces of those who really need it!
