The Lake Erie Monsters open up the 2011-2012 preseason tonight in Charlotte. It is the first time in franchise history that the two clubs will meet. The 7:00 p.m. game will not be broadcast, but for live in-game updates follow @MonstersHockey and the new "Voice of the Monsters" @dougplagens.  The two teams - who face four times in the regular season - will play again tomorrow afternoon in Charlotte.
