All T.J. Hensick did in the 2009-10 regular season was record 22 multiple point games, represent the Monsters in the All Star game for the second time in three years, set franchise marks with 50 assists and 70 points in a season and become the first player in franchise history to be named the AHL Player of the Month. Oh, and he accomplished all of that despite missing 22 games.

Hensick’s 70 points, 50 assists, 22 multi-point games, 27 power play points and 22 power play assists were all team bests in 2009-10.

After splitting the first two seasons of his professional career between Cleveland and Colorado, Hensick spent the majority of his season with the Monsters in 2009-10, appearing in just seven games with the Avalanche early on in the season.

A University of Michigan grad, Hensick was named the AHL’s Player of the Month for the month of December. In 2009’s final month, Hensick registered 23 points (4G, 19A) in 13 games, recording at least a point in 12 of those 13 games.

• February 6th, 2010: Put up 12th multi-point game of the season and first multi-goal game of the season (2G) vs. Rockford.

• February 19th, 2010: Recorded 15th multi-point game of the season (1G, 2A) vs. Syracuse.
 
• February 27th, 2010: Registered 16th multi-point game of the season (1G, 2A) vs. Grand Rapids.

• March 13th, 2010: Recorded 18th multi-point game of the season (2A) at Abbotsford.
 
• March 20th, 2010: Registered 20th multi-point game of the season (1G, 2A) vs. Abbotsford.

• April 7th, 2010: Recorded 22nd multi-point game of the season (2A) vs. Abbotsford.
