Action-Packed Weekend Starts Saturday!Tweet12/09/2009 4:37 PM
Saturday features the Monsters first ever “Twilight Night,” as Chaske Spencer, better known as “Sam” from the movie “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” will sign autographs beginning at 6:30 p.m. for an hour before game prior to dropping the game puck. BUY TICKETS FOR SATURDAY Sunday’s game is both a Kids Day and an Arby’s Family Value Day. The concourse will feature clowns, balloon artists and face painters for the kids, while the Arby’s Family Value Day offers families of four-to-six tickets to the game, Monsters ski hats and Arby’s Combo Meals, all starting at just $68. BUY TICKETS FOR SUNDAY Sunday’s game is also the first-ever Chuck-A-Bear, presented by Charter One Bank. Fans are encouraged to bring a teddy bear to the game and toss it onto the ice after the first Monsters goal or during the second intermission, depending on which comes first. The event is for a great cause, as all bears collected will be donated to the Salvation Army. If the Kids Day, Arby’s Family Value Day and Chuck-A-Bear weren’t enough action during Sunday’s game, the entire team will be on the concourse after the game for a postgame autograph session! The Monsters Toy Drive will also be held both Saturday and Sunday, as fans are encouraged to bring in and donate new, unwrapped toys for underprivileged children throughout Northern Ohio. Fans can drop off toys at collection bins located at every entrance of Quicken Loans Arena. In addition, the public is invited to drop off toys at Northeast Ohio Charter One Branches and at Quicken Loans Arena at the Time Warner Cable Entrance during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) Tickets for this weekend’s games are still available and can be purchased by calling (216) 420-0000, by visiting LakeErieMonsters.com or by visiting any Northern Ohio Discount Drug Mart. |
