Mike Carman gave the Monsters a 1-0 lead entering the first intermission, and after former Lake Erie captain Brian Willsie tied it for the Bulldogs five minutes into the second period, Patrick Rissmiller scored the eventual gamewinner at 6:54 of the middle frame. Luke Walker added an emptynetter with 17 seconds left to give the Monsters a 3-1 win over Hamilton, the fifth out of six meetings with the Bulldogs so far this year. Goalie Gerald Coleman is now 3-2 after recording 28 saves on 29 shots in the win.
