Members of the Lake Erie Monsters visited St. Mary of the Woods in Avon for a game of "noodle hockey" with some of the residents; the fourth year of what has become a tradition.

Representing the Monsters were Tyson Barrie, Mike Brennan, Brad Malone, and David van der Gulik.

Equipped with matching “St. Mary’s Hockey” t-shirts, the six-member team of St. Mary residents won the game, continuing their undefeated streak against the Monsters.

The Battle Beagles practice noodle hockey- a game played with pool-toy noodles and a beach ball, with walkers used as goals- on a regular basis.  And practice clearly makes perfect, as the Monsters players can attest to!
