The Monsters have not played a home game since they handed the Houston Aeros a 5-2 loss on December 12th. Since that win, the Monsters have gone 0-3-1-0, falling to Milwaukee (3-0, Dec. 17), Rockford (2-1 OT, Dec. 18), Peoria (4-0, Dec. 19) and Grand Rapids (5-3, Dec. 26).

Lake Erie is 13-14-3-4 overall, 8-4-2-2 at home and 6-4-0-2 against North Division opponents.

Rochester will enter Wednesday’s contest on a 15-15-2-1 overall record, while they are 9-4-1-0 on the road and 5-8-2-0 in North Division play.

With a 90.0% efficiency, Lake Erie’s home penalty killing unit ranks first in the AHL. Rochester’s road power play is second in the league at 25.4%.

The Amerks are lead by power forward Michal Repik, who has notched 32 points (5G, 27A) in his last 28 games.

In goal, Jacob Markstrom has done the bulk of the work for Rochester, posting an 11-13-0 record.
